The Booster Cup competed at 4 of the 5 venues, not competing in the surf at Durban as it was deemed to be unsafe for the riders to compete in those conditions.

It was a profitable season for Booster Cup which generated income of R44 600 from race entries and incurred expenses of R 16 928.85, which means they contributed R27 671.15 to the profits of the national series.

As a development tool, it is starting to bear fruit as we have 2 competitors who indicated that are interested in continuing to compete at a national level. This is what we are aiming for with this initiative.

It was used very well for a company, Tiger Truck, as a team building tool at 2 of the venues and we have interest shown by them as well as 2 other companies to continue doing this for the 2016 season.

We would like to see more support & promotion of this initiative by the national riders as it does require quite a lot of work & organisation.

Thank you to those who did help when asked.
